Our dry surface treatment activity has always required testing, analysis and characterization.
Our very many “cutting-edge” production and development works, in particular related to our Cold Spray expertise, lead us today to integrate the main part of the activity “Materials/Metallurgy Laboratory”.
From March 2020, we will be able to carry out metallographic preparation and microscopic observation of the coatings we are developing:
- Micrographic analysis
- Micro-hardness / Filiation
- Porosity rate / Oxide rate
- Substrate / coating interface
- Contamination
- ...
These controls will complement our current possibilities:
- Macro-hardness
- Coating thickness measurement
- Surface roughness
- Stamping specimens
- Folding test pieces
We will therefore be able, with maximum reactivity, to evaluate, optimize our coatings and support you with ever more relevance in your developments.
This equipment is implemented and controlled by a team of PhD Eng., Metrology Technician, Physical Measurement Technician who brings all the added value necessary during the analyzes and expert reports that we offer.
